First Night Fairy Tales Series
Whiskey Creek Press/Torrid will publish Caroline's fairy tale series as a 2-in-1 title starting January 2014: both titles (First Night: Four Fairy Tales Retold and Second Night: More Fairy Tales Retold) as Caroline will be adding more titles to the series in 2014, with Seven Names for Snow, a Snow White tale, and Blood Red, a Red Riding Hood story.
The Two Kingdoms Series
The Two Kingdoms series will finally see the long awaited Book Two in the series, Hunter's Moon, coming from Whiskey Creek Press/Torrid Books in June 2014. Hunter's Moon tells the story of Hawk the Hunter, the Duke of Rivenden, and how his betrayal of Lady Grayslake has broken his already fractured heart, as he tries in vain to rescue the reluctant Princess from her Jedren captors. Book Three, The Jedren King, which is forthcoming later in 2014, tells the story of Ardan's path to the throne of Joquil, and despite her best efforts to remain off the throne, Lady Grayslake's part in the queen's plan is revealed.
Sister of Mercy
Caroline's new series, Sister of Mercy, chronicles the world of tortured nun-turned vice cop Katherine Tanner, as she struggles to hold on to her sanity in a world that is turning increasingly evil. Set in the City of Angels, Los Angeles, Katherine Tanner's story further cements Caroline Aubrey as one of California Gothic literature's promising new voices.
